PROJECT: To
make mantle clocks to be used as gifts for family members. These
clocks were the subject of the CWA meeting program, August 2002. DESIGN: Various, based on traditional bracket clock design. MATERIAL: Various, mahogany, tiger maple, cherry, walnut. Seiko quartz chiming movements. FINISH: Various, oil & varnish, lacquer. SIZE: Approximately 10 inches wide, 13 inches tall, 5 inches deep. YEAR: 2002 |

made-to-order clock cabinet Materials/Techniques: Material used can be changed, based on need and final use. This one includes a drawer on the bottom, a door, and four open shelves. Finish: May be finished for paint or stain. The example on the left is unfinished. The example on the right has been imaginatively finished by Monroe artist Diane Webb. (Note the "CAT" on the second shelf.) Size: The example shown is 6' high |
