The Mid-West Tool Collectors Association is an impressive organization with 3600 national members, 163 of which are in North Carolina. Their meetings contain quality programming and afford an opportunity to buy, sell and trade tools. Further, their quarterly magazine and periodic reprints are absolutely outstanding.
The Mid-West Tool Collectors Association is a non-profit organization dedicated to the study, preservation and understanding of the early tools, implements and devices used by our ancestors in their homes, shops, on the farm and on the sea, and to a better perception of the industries and crafts on which these tool were used as well as the craftsmen who used them.
Founded in 1968 by a small group of avid collectors, the organization has rapidly become international in scope with membership of over three thousand who are scattered to all corners of the globe.
